The United Methodist
For over 35 years, the United Methodist Youth Home has
served some of Indiana’s most vulnerable youth.
At UMYH, we provide a variety of programming centered on helping at-risk
youth become responsible and productive members of the community. The young people we serve have faced
incredibly difficult obstacles and struggle to develop healthy coping
skills. They are in need of a delicate
balance of care and discipline. The
treatment we provide is designed to achieve this, while empowering the youth to
overcome the serious traumas they have faced and learn the skills needed to
We currently have a need for qualified candidates for Residential Counselor positions for
second and third shifts. A Residential
Counselor provides support and supervision of our youth throughout the course
of all daily programming activities.
Employees must be 21 years of age, able to pass a criminal
background check, and have a valid driver’s license.

Required: High School
