United Methodist Youth Home

Although counties pay for the services the United Methodist Youth Home provides, this funding covers approximately 75% of our actual costs. The balance of financial resources that are needed to enhance our mission must come from gifts, grants and bequests.

  • Annual Fund Drive

The United Methodist Youth Home always has a need for unrestricted funds, which provide us with the flexibility to meet our highest priorities and most urgent needs beyond our limited county funding. Gifts can be made in memory or honor of a special person or to recognize an important occasion.

  • Residents' Celebration Fund

Gifts to the Residents' Celebration Fund help us to respond to our residents' individual needs and special occasions throughout the year. Contributions to this fund enable us to commemorate our residents' birthdays and holidays and celebrate accomplishments such as graduations. Your gift will also help us meet our residents' special needs such as a new dress for the prom or baby items for a newborn.

  • Planned Giving

You can leave a gift to the United Methodist Youth Home through your will or estate plan. A provision in your will or the use of various estate planning tools such as life insurance, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts etc. can provide continuing support to The United Methodist Youth Home after your death.
Planned gifts can also offer substantial tax benefits. We recommend that you consult with a financial advisor before entering into a planned giving arrangement.

  • In-Kind Donations

The United Methodist Youth Home gratefully accepts all in-kind donations. For our current needs list, please click here.

  • Special Appeals

Throughout the year, the United Methodist Youth Home will make appeals for donations in coordination with special events such as our Annual Tea, Cash for Class and other occasions.
